It's time for adventure!
Since each trips/tours/activities are privately/jointly organized, we recommend you reserving a space as soon as you know when you want to travel.

This is a nature cum adventure trip. Any deviations, delay, unforeseen circumstances and/or cancellations or otherwise from the itinerary should be expected and taken with humor. Be prepared to rough it out.

Reservations & Payment
Participants have to pay the required deposit in order to secure a place. The balance payment and/or full payment (where applicable) must be paid within the relevant time period as stated by the MMtreks.com. Otherwise, the deposit paid (if any) would be forfeited & the participant is deemed not to have secured a place for the trip.

The deposit paid is not refundable in the event of cancellation and/or non-payment of the balance by the participant. Deposits will only be refunded provided that cancellation is made by the organizer/s only. In the event of cancellation after the full amount for the cost of the trip has been paid;

 

More than 60 days before Arrival Day	retention of deposit
59 - 30 days before Arrival Day	retention of 60% of the trip price
29 - 14 days before Arrival Day	retention of 90% of the trip price
less than 14 days before Arrival Day	retention of 100% of the trip price

There shall be no refund whatsoever after the commencement of the trip.

Final payment for all land/air costs is to be made within the relevant time period as stated by the MMtreks.com. This allows us to make final arrangements.

Land Cost
Tier Pricing: While we make every effort to fill each tour to the point of maximum economy for everyone (and do all possible to avoid canceling trips with low signup), we tier price some of our adventures in order to guarantee departure with a smaller number of passengers.

Safety
All Participants must follow safety instructions from the organizers, guides and/or other relevant authority.

For groups, the organizer/s shall only deal with the relevant representative or tour/group leader of the respective groups. The other participants should obtain the information with regard to the trip from their respective representative or tour/group leader.

General Information
All participants signing up for the trip and/or activities shall do so strictly at their own risk.

All participants must sign & return "Indemnity Form" before the tour begin.

The organizers shall not be responsible for any loss and/or damage to the belongings of participants.

Participants who have any questions regarding this activity, please ask the organizer/s before hand or at least before the departure date, thank you.

All participants must notify the organizers, guides, and/or any other relevant party as to their whereabouts at all times. Participant/s who wish to do their own activities during the trip/or during free time (if any) must let the organizer/s know at least one day in advance.

The organizer/s or guide/s will try to show as many interesting places as possible and provide the best service/s they can to all participants at all times.

Cancellation by MMtreks.Com
MMtreks.Com reserves the right to cancel a departure and will advise you of such cancellations no later than 30 days before the tour departure date. If due to ‘Force Majeure’ or government travel advice, MMtreks.Com reserves the right to cancel a departure at any time. With any form of cancellation, MMtreks.Com will offer you alternative arrangements, and if the price of your alternative booking is of lower value than the original booking we will refund the difference to you. If you do not accept alternative arrangements we will refund all payments you have made to MMtreks.Com, (in case of ‘Force Majeure’ or government travel advice refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs). MMtreks.Com will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you.

Canceling your Booking
Should the client wish to cancel after making their full and final payment, they will be refunded based on their cancellation date, valid when the Company receives their cancellation request in writing (mail, email, facsimile). The amount of their refund will be calculated as follows:

Force Majeure
MMtreks.Com will not be liable for any delay in, change to or cancellation of trips due to ‘Force Majeure’. ‘Force Majeure’ means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of MMtreks.Com and includes, but is not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and strikes.

Travel Insurance
MMtreks.com (MM Adventure Services) highly recommend that you / your group purchase travel insurance before the trips/activities.

Travel Insurance is a must, needed on all programs for air/surface evacuation, medical, lost baggage and etc.

Fitness & Medical Information
Participants should be reasonably fit & healthy to participate in such activities. In case of any doubt, participants are encouraged to seek confirmation from a medical doctor.

Participation on an MMtreks.com trip requires that you are in good health. It is essential that persons with any medical problems or dietary restrictions make them known to us well before departure. We can then counsel you on whether the adventure you have selected is right for you.

The MMtreks.com has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the trip if he or she feels the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant's continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances.

MMtreks.com is not a medical facility and therefore has no expertise nor responsibility regarding what medications or inoculations you and your private physician should decide necessary for your safe participation in the trip.

Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive. MM Adventure Services assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care.

For lengthy trips which involve Adventure Caving, Jungle Trekking (remote area), Mountain Climbing & etc, participants are advised to take the required course of Malaria pills. Kindly consult your doctor beforehand.

Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, even in the early stages, we do not allow or recommend you to take part in any of our outdoor activities. If you do so without our knowledge, we will not be in any way responsible for any untoward consequences.

Single Travelers
All land costs are based on double occupancy. If you are a single traveler and wish to share accommodations, we will match you with a roommate if one is available. If none is available, or if you prefer single accommodations, you must pay the single supplement. Single arrangements are not always available in wilderness situations, but we will try our best to arrange it.

Family Travelers
Most of our Tours are suitable for parents and children. We do not identify specific "family departures" since we think that would be to restrictive. However if you, as a family, are the first guests to sign up on a particular trip we will designate that as a "family departure" at that time. Therefore, we suggest registering early to obtain a family trip. call our office or email us to discuss which trips are appropriate for your children.

Limitation of Liability (the fine print)
MMtreks.com gives notice that services provided in connection with its itineraries, including transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other services, are purchased from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with MMtreks.com in any way. Although it endeavors to choose the best suppliers available, MMtreks.com has no right to control their operations and therefore makes these travel arrangements upon the express condition that MMtreks.com, and its own agents and employees, shall not be liable for any delay, mishap, inconvenience, expense, irregularity, bodily injury or death to person, or damage to property occasioned through the conduct or default of any company or individual engaged in providing these services. Each of these passenger conveyance companies, tour companies, hotels, restaurants, et., is subject to the laws of the state or country where the service is provided.

MMtreks.com shall not be liable for: 

(a) expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the individual trip itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to, or following a trip, when causes by individual clients¹ travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections, or by other factors not under MMtreks.com control.

(b) expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by airlines, belongings left behind on a trip, or in shipping purchases or other goods home from abroad

(c) bodily injury or property damage for any reason, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, theft, default, detention, annoyance, changes in government regulations, terrorism, war, or failure of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, etc., over which MMtreks.com has no control.

MMtreks.com reserves the right to substitute hotels and leaders and to alter the itinerary when deemed necessary or advisable. The right is also reserved to cancel any trip prior to departure.
